Anyone out there use flannel in on the back?
Do you use batting, too?

Yes, I've used flannel for backing and yes, I used batting too!
I love those colours! I must step out of my comfort zone sometimes as well. It looks fantastic.
I love using flannel for quilt backings! SOOOO soft and comfy, I figure it makes up for it if the quilt's recipient doesn't like the top. Right? LOL.
Wow! Good thing you stepped out of your comfort zone. Turned out great! Dropped of my fabric at my mom's yesterday to be washed since my washing machine is broken :-( So I hope I can start cutting soon ;-)

I love backing my quilts with flannel, and I do still use batting. :)
