Keeping it simple.

I'm going to see my mom this month.





She asked me for a Sidekick bag for Christmas.  I'm going to try to get it done this month so I can give it to her early in person.  The pocket is purple.  The lining is going to be blue, not orange.

Finish Along Quarter 3...what got done.

Way back when, I posted a list....an extreme list...for the FAL, Quarter 3.  I blogged about it here.

I got a lot done....started more than I should...and have a bunch rolling over.

Here's my progress....

Sewing Projects:

1.  Hexy MF.  It's off at the longarmer.

2.  Marcelle Medallion.   Yup.  Didn't work on it.

3.  Tear Drop quilt...Didn't work on it either.

4.  Hexy Diamonds...added a few more diamonds.

5.  Sidekick, version 2.  Um.. nope.

6.  Meridian 2.  Um.. nope there, too.  It's still in the 80s here.

7.  Tula Sampler.  VICTORY!!! A finish!


8.  Black/White/Color quilt.  DONE!!!


9.  Gypsy Wife...I did some more blocks and then it dropped off my radar.

10.  5 needlebooks.  DONE!!! MAILED OFF.


11.  Journal covers.  DONE!!!


12.  Bitty Broken Lonestar.  Um..no progress.

13.  L's quilt.  DONE and GIFTED!  And...I apparently never blogged the finish.

23.  Crazy Twisted QAYG.  DONE.


24.  Catvent quilt.  Scraps collected. Nothing else.

25.  Modern Medallion.  Stopped at the fabric pull.

26.  Steam punk quilt, ditto.

Knitting Projects

1.  Peacock mittens, no progress.

2.  Central Park hoodie.  Debating frogging it.  Not sure I had cast on the right size.

3.  Pastel Hitchhiker.  DONE.

4.  Leaf Sock.  Not sure where I put the pattern.

5.  Blue sweater.  Knitted some more.

6.  Icarus shawl.  DONE.


7.  Yoda hat.  DONE.


8.  Cable scarf.  DONE.


9.  Black Cardigan.  DONE.


10.  Socks scraps blanket.  Working on 2nd panel.

11.  Grey Vest.  DONE.

COMPLETED....  17 out of 37.

AHem.  Wait til you see the NEXT list.  (insane insane insane)

What I've been up to...

After finally kicking the first ick and getting some sewjo back, it appears I may have a round 2 of ick (of the coughing/stuffy kind) coming on.

But, I won't let that stop me!

I've got SewJo and I've been trying to put it to good use.

Playing Catch Up...and a Giveaway!

Sorry I've been an AWOL blogger.  I'm fighting off bronchitis, and, frankly, all I've wanted to do is sleep when I've not been working.

Needless to say, not much quilting has been going on here.  When I've been crafty, it's been an ADHD kind of crafty, switching gears every 20 minutes.  Yesterday, I started my Dr. Who sampler, knitted while watching Dr. Who and hand quilted one block (yup, just one tiny block) on the Tula City Sampler that I basted last week.  Not sure how much more is going to get done this last month of my FAL quarter.  Lots in being worked on, but lots sitting partly done.

I *HAVE* finished a bunch, but I haven't posted it here.  I've mostly been living on Instagram.  Here are some that didn't make it here before....

ALYOF Sept Goal

Keeping this one doable.

Going to finish my QAYG round robin quilt.  It's back in my possession.  I decided to alter the layout and add another panel to make it bigger.  So, I need to make the new panel, put the top all together, back it/stitch in the ditch, and bind it.  It's very early 80s, and it's more than awesome.
