#theintrepidthreadchallenge

When Julie at The Intrepid Thread posted an invite for folks to get mystery fabric and challenged them to make something with it, I raised my hand high to volunteer!

I have long wanted to make Amanda's Knitting Bag by SometimesCrafter.

So, the time had come.  I added in some pink knetted Cotton and Steel and some black linen.

Here was the pile of lovelies I started with from Julie:

starters

I printed my directions and got to work.  The directions for the bag were really straight forward.

Here's one side:

Here's the other:

Then I took the scraps and made a sock knitting bag to go inside the bag:

I love it.  It's already full of a couple of projects.  Thanks, Julie, for the change to play with new to me fabrics!

these came out so great. I'm looking forward to getting the paper and ink lines some time soon -- first i have to figure out what precuts I want.
