To be fair, a lot of is being carried over from last quarter's list.  Then I got bit by the SHINY bug and added a crapton more.  Yup, that's how I roll.  On the upside, the mini Stash Bash is in Oct, so maybe I'll knock some of it out.  I am well aware that most of the knitting goals, at least, will roll over into 2016.  I'm cool with that.

ALYOF Oct Goal.

I'm headed to the mini Stash Bash this month.  I'm going to make it simple, with a goal on a deadline.  I want to finish my Molly Market tote (one of two) for my partner.

I've got most of the pieces cut.

FAL, quarter 3

I have to admit, I didn't attack my massive list (posted here) as aggressively as I planned.  I had a staph infection of my foot that grounded me for a couple of weeks and had a hard time getting my sewjo back.  Then school started up again, and it was draining.  So...yeah.  The next list will be equally mahousive, as I have a big case of the SHINY.

Sewing goals:

1.  #whedonverse swap..DONE!!!  It's getting mailed by Fri.




2.  #muppetcraft swap..DONE!!! I'm still waiting for my partner to get it.



3.  #pirateswap..DONE!! And received by my partner.



4.  Moda Modern building blocks quilt...currently at the long armer.  I'm super excited about this one.

5.  Gypsy Wife quilt...Done!!!



6.  Misdirection...Done!!!

25 done!!!!

ALYOF Sept finishes (and more)

I finished my items for the #whedonverseswap15.

I decided to make an apron for my partner as she likes to cook.
I went with a Captain Hammer emblem.



I decided I needed to add more, so I made a cross stitch of a quote from "Firefly."



I'm adding a bunch of other lovelies to the mix.


In addition,  I finally finished the socks for my SIL.




I also finally got around to taking pictures of my C&S improv...which turned into two pillow covers for the guest room.  I have Misdirection pics, too (also now living in the guest bedroom).

I finished the Heal Circle quilt over Yom Kippur.  It was, sadly, the first quilt I've finished in a while.



I finished the Owl Pillow (which is a Christmas present for a friend of mine).




The Moda Modern Building blocks top is now at the long armer.


Oh, and I finished the hat for my FIL. linking up!

ALYOF September Goal

I feel like my sew-jo has gone AWOL.

Going back to school is just making me feel exhausted.  I'm coming home and snoozing with the dog.  I'm not eating as well as I should either.  Blarg.

I'm setting a goal that needs to happen this month.
My #whedonverseswap items are due to be mailed the first week of October.




I'd like to get it all sorted this month!  I have a plan for a big and a little.  I have all the supplies.  Just need to get my booty in gear.

ALYOF- August finish!

I spent a huge chunk of time handquilting at the front end of the month.

Then my hands got sore....and I got into back to school mode.

But I rallied over the weekend....and just worked on this project.

And it's done!

I love it!

Keeping it straightforward.  Trying to get it done before my birthday midmonth.

I want to finish my Gypsy Wife.

I'm handquilting using a boatload of perle.

I'm not a huge fan of handsewing, but I kind of love this quilt enough that I mentioned to my husband that I might make another.  It's got that ugly pretty thing going that I kind of dig.
