Although he's on doggie tranquilizers. Is that like horse tranquilizers?
Poor boober's mouth hurts...it's now short a few teeth.
I stayed at home with him and sewed today.
I did this last night:
I was doing a test block for the Sew Bee Blissful block this month. I fluffed it a bit in terms of sewing two fabrics together that I didn't intend to. Now i know what to avoid when I sew Jenna's block.
I FINALLY finished mom's quilt top:
I love it, but it's WAY bigger than anything I've tried to straight line quilt. I wish I could free motion on my machine. *sigh*
I finished a girl's twin quilt....very 80s...that I hope will be headed to Joplin soon.
Edit: July Modern Block of the Month, now complete:
Still not worked on:
the Sew Bee Blissful block for Jenna (her fabrics came today but the envelope was opened...I'm waiting to see if I'm missing any important bits)
my prayer flag quilt (same pattern as the one for my mom)
For the Love of Solid swap item
Label that needs attaching to my Make Mine Modern swap item...(and then pretty packing)
Love the colors in the girls' quilt. That will make a young'un very happy, I'm sure! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that black and white block! I know you said you messed it up but I think it looks great :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are going to leave yourself some chill out time this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI like the quilt you've made for your mum. I've never made a quilt with a white background but I think I will as they're so fresh looking.
ReplyDeletePoor you; poor doggie. I hope you are both feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteI love that modern block.
